christmas cards.

I decided to decorate my envelopes for my Christmas cards this year since we were making a special trip to Christmas, FL to have them postmarked. (Blog post about Christmas, FL coming Monday!)

It was a good time to practice my hand lettering skills too!

I also picked up these adorable stickers at Michaels to put on my envelopes!

making mail movie.

Making Mail
A documentary by The Making Company exploring the human connection through the movement of mail art. It features artists who embrace the antiquated postal service and use it to send beautiful pieces of mail art across the globe.

I would love to hear what you all think about the documentary! I know it has inspired me to decorate all my letters even more now before sending just a plain envelope out the door!

Also, drop into The Making Company and let them know what you think about this great film, I know they would love to hear your feedback!

You can follow Amber Esner and all of her lovely mail art here.

to get a letter, write a letter mail zine.

I am so very excited to introduce my very first zine!

I have been wanting to put together a letter/mail themed zine for a long time now, and I finally have! It is available for sale in my etsy shop for the great low price of $1.50 plus shipping.

The zine is 6 pages printed on white 20lb paper. It features fun facts and information dealing with mail! It is perfect for any mail lover in your life.

Be on the lookout for more volumes to hit my etsy shop in the future.
