I have been designing a lot of invitations lately for various events coming up in my friends lives and I wanted to share them all with you as they are created and sent out! Who doesn't love receiving a beautiful invitation in the mail!
These baby sprinkle invites were inspired by some adorable whale fabric that I picked up at Joann Fabrics. These invitations are for my best friend of nearly 25 years and I am so excited to be throwing her a baby sprinkle to welcome her second son into the world!
The Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) stamp is being released as part of the Music Icons series. Jimi Hendrix was one of the most important musicians of the 20th Century. Combining influences from rock, modern jazz, soul, and the blues with his own innovations, Hendrix created a unique style that influenced musical artists of his era and continues to inspire musicians into the 21st century.
The artist created the selvage and stamp art with acrylic paint and colored pencils. His choice of colors and designs introduced elements of movement and rhythm with an almost musical flow, paying homage to the 1960s without directly imitating the era's art.
In 1993, Hendrix was awarded a posthumous Grammy for lifetime achievement.
The Jimi Hendrix stamp will be issued as a Forever® stamp.

I have had this precious koala bear stamp since I was little but recently just found it amongst all of my craft supplies. I thought it would be cute to make some stickers using it to put on my letters and send to my penpals!
