Vintage Love Letter Wedding: Part 1

I got married a little over a month ago now, and was super excited about the theme for our wedding. Vintage Love Letters! I have always been a huge letter writer and my now husband and I would write letters while he was on tour with his band to one another so it only seemed natural.

I stuck with the theme from the beginning to the very end. I will share some sneak peeks of various wedding details that helped to include our theme all throughout our special day.

Seen here is the Save The Date that my friend Joe and I designed to start off the theme and to let everyone know that a telegram would soon be headed their way...

The invite was a vintage telegram that I purchased through telegramstop.com. They are great! They have a template that I formated my text to read in the old style telegram writing. They personally addressed each invite and envelope to the specific guest for that extra added touch.

I also came up with this design for a custom postmark design that my friend also helped me create and I then had it made into a custom rubber stamp that I used on several things throughout the wedding. (invites, cocktail napkins, gift boxes, etc.)
